Job: Children's Deputy Manager – (1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £16.00 per hour + £30 per sleep-in shift

Main Responsibilities:
Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives outlined in the statement of purpose
Deputise in the absence of the registered manager
Support and manage staff to meet the needs of children and young people
Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate
Act as the responsible person for managing child protection concerns and complaints
Work in partnership with professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people
Provide supervision and support to senior staff in accordance with care quality standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
Person Specification:
Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Working towards or already holds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
Full, current driving license
At least 3 years’ experience in residential children’s care, including supervisory experience
