About the Role:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your role will include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with the accounting team to provide timely and accurate financial reports, playing a key role in the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Key Duties:
* Maintain accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Liaise with clients to address any queries and provide financial support.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
* Collaborate with the accounting team to support the overall financial management of clients.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles.
* Proficient in accounting software Xero
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
