NHS Grampian Cancer Performance are recruiting a Regional Cancer Pathway Coordinator where the post holder will be responsible for providing support to multidisciplinary teams, for Regional Gynaecology Services, primarily for ovarian cancer patient pathways across the North of Scotland. The post holder will also be responsible for management of the Ovarian Cancer database which includes data processing, analysis, reporting for audit purposes.
The post holder will participate in weekly MDT meetings with the provision of patients for discussion, recording and storing sensitive information.
The post holder must be a team player and provide, as required, support to MDT colleagues.
This is a unique, rewarding and interesting role where the successful applicant will have previous supervisory and/or project coordinator skills; strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues; knowledge of cancer waiting times; ability to prioritise and escalate potential issues on the cancer pathway for patients to ensure that Scottish Government cancer waiting times are met.
