We are now seeking a dynamic Performance Manager for Elective Care to join our leadership team and help drive the Trust's vision for exceptional performance and service delivery.
As the Performance Manager for Elective Care, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management and delivery of elective access and recovery targets. You will work closely with operational teams and external partners to drive excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
* Full and in-depth knowledge of RTT national and local rules
* Demonstrate leadership across the Trust by working closely with Divisional Teams to ensure RTT validation and patient pathways are managed effectively
* Lead on the planning, reporting and monitoring of National elective recovery programmes of work and evaluation of projects on elective performance and improvement.
* Monitor key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational efficiency
* Provide clear and regular feedback on the progress of performance improvement and development initiatives to relevant operational and support service teams
* Lead the collation of accurate data for national & regional elective information returns, sense checking the data and ensuring timely completion
Communicate within the Associate Director of Performance and wider Trust as required, and where appropriate the commissioners, to increase the awareness of ongoing performance improvements and their benefits.

Education and qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
* Evidence of recent continuing professional development.
* Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
Experience
* Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
* Demonstrable experience of performance and quality monitoring, Data management and reporting experience
* Experience of building effective cross functional working relationships to drive organisational agenda
Skills and knowledge
* Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems in relation to project or service delivery.
* Demonstrable experience developing, managing and motivating teams/individuals to ensure success
* Experience of delivering against competing priorities and deadlines while also directing the work of teams/individuals
* Ability to operate in a value driven style consistent with the values of the public services and specifically with the PAH organisational values
