Main duties of the job As the Ward Manager based on the Inpatient Surgical Ward, you willfacilitate the delivery of exceptional standards of care through effective clinical leadership and management.Delivering this with expertise, energy, providing guidance and development opportunitiesandsupporting the team to make a difference. The post holder will be responsibleforensuring the highest standards of care to patients and families are consistently achieved. The successful candidate will be driven and have a flexible approach to service delivery, developing an environment which provides care for multi-specialty pre and post operative elective surgical patients. The ward has 18 inpatient beds, six of which are enabled to provide enhanced care, up to Level 2. The Ward Manager will behighly visible to patients, relatives and staff in their role and deliver direct patient care regularly whilstproactively leadingfrom the front, with the opportunity to grow and establish a high performing team.
