Manpower are delighted to be supporting our client in Bradford for a HR Administrator.
About the Role
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive HR Administrator to join our team! If you are someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and a natural flair for communication, this role could be perfect for you. As part of our dynamic HR team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional HR support and delivering key administrative services. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your organisational and problem-solving skills will be put to the test. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. You will manage the entire employee life-cycle, from recruitment and on-boarding to day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and nurture strong working relationships with employees and the HR team, ensuring open communication and support.
* Keep accurate records of personnel data such as payroll, leave, turnover, and personal details on the HR systems, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
* Collaborate with various departments to manage new starters, leavers, and related tasks (payroll, benefits, etc.).
* Generate and submit regular HR activity reports, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
* Assist the HR Officer in preparing monthly HR reports with precision.
* Oversee the full on-boarding process, including:
* Managing on-boarding and leaver trackers to ensure compliance.
* Sending accurate offer letters and securing necessary documentation before start dates.
* Verifying right-to-work documentation.
* Creating personnel files and maintaining HR system records in line with the checklist.
* Conducting pre-employment checks (references, DBS/Security Clearance).
* Facilitating smooth HR inductions.
* Support the probation review process by preparing documentation, scheduling reviews, and raising concerns with the HR Officer as needed.
* Efficiently manage HR ticketing service, responding to queries and prioritising tasks.
* Handle building management tasks, including coordination of maintenance, health & safety, and supplier management.
* Assist with maintaining and circulating policy and procedure manuals (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001).
* This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you may be asked to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Skills & Experience
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* A flexible, positive, and proactive attitude, with a drive for change and improvement.
* Proven experience as an HR Administrator or HR Coordinator (essential).
* A relevant HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or studying towards it) is preferred.
* Strong understanding of HR on-boarding processes with demonstrable experience.
* Proficient in using MS Office and HR systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive data.
* Highly organised with great time-management skills.
* Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
