WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
As a Guest Relations Agent, you will be managing our hotel switchboard and dealing with all internal and external calls in a professional and efficient manner. Whilst handling a range of matters, you will offer exceptional attention to detail in hotel services knowledge and convey the appropriate tone and warmth in all communications.
DUTIES
1. Achieve positive outcomes from Guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Accept and deliver all messages correctly and promptly for both Guests and Team Members.
3. Handle emergency calls immediately and relay comprehensive and accurate information, as required.
4. Ensure all wake-up calls take place at the correct time.
5. Assist with Front of House administration.
6. Follow company brand standards and demonstrate a high level of guest service at all times.
7. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
8. Attend appropriate training courses, when required.
9. Demonstrate a knowledge of all hotel services, local attractions, and landmarks in the hotel vicinity. We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
1. It's all about attitude for us, someone who enjoys being helpful to others; that person who makes you feel confident they can answer any question and who you'd want to stop and chat to.
2. Previous hotel (or similar) experience is great, but it's not a must-have for us - if you're eager to learn we can teach you what you need to know.
3. You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
4. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
5. You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way.
6. Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
7. Competent level of IT proficiency - Knowledge of OPERA PMS (preferred).
