We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face-to-face and remote interpreting services for Hospitals, Councils, Insurance Companies, and other public and private sector organisations. We are urgently seeking to fill our Romany Interpreter Jobs in Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow, and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
Highly skilled and proficient Romany Interpreters located in the specified areas are sought for this well-paying freelance interpreting role. Eligible candidates must:
1. Have an excellent command of both English and the Romany language.
2. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the cultural dynamics of both languages.
3. Demonstrate mastery of correct word order and grammar.
4. Exhibit a wide vocabulary, including knowledge of synonyms, idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and quotations.
5. Show good communication skills such as clear enunciation, pronunciation, and a professional tone of voice.
6. Have competency in key industries such as Medical, Financial, Insurance, Courts & Tribunals, Police, and/or Government Agencies.
Applicants must present a DBS certificate, a copy of their educational qualifications, two references, a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate, and will be subject to the Company's rigorous recruitment and selection process.
Scope Of Work:
Interpret for patients, clients, and end-users who speak limited or no English. Duties will include attending hospitals, GP Practices, Social Services, Job Centres, and other public and private sector organisations. As a community interpreter, you may also attend home visits to provide interpretation services for patients and clients at their premises but will always be accompanied by a professional.
