Job summary An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced radiographer to lead the main x-ray team (including Theatres) for the Radiology Department. We are looking for a knowledgeable, and experienced radiographer with a passion for paediatrics, who will embrace the opportunity to manage their own team and to lead and develop the Main X-ray service and QSI accreditation at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. We have 3 Philips DR rooms, 1 Fluoroscopy suite, DEXA, EOS, 7 Fuji mobile x-ray units, 4 Image Intensifiers, 1 Mini-C arm, 1 Catheter Laboratory (Philips), 1 Interventional Theatre (Philips), an O arm and Hybrid Theatre. We perform a wide range of examinations including advanced cardiac and neuro imaging, with the main x-ray service provided over 24 hours, 7 days per week. You will play an essential role in Alder Hey achieving QSI accreditation and ensuring high standards of imaging and patient care. Main duties of the job To lead and develop the Main x-ray & Theatres service across all areas of the Trust ensuring the service meets Radiology, Trust and National standards, bringing innovative solutions and providing excellent patient care.
