Job Title: Security Solution Architect
Join a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) with an ambitious 4-year growth plan, where you'll have full autonomy to build and lead the Cybersecurity practice. This is a pure pre-sales, design, and architecture role – no hands-on implementation required.
As the Security Solutions Architect, you’ll be responsible for shaping the cybersecurity portfolio, deciding which products and solutions the business offers, and defining the overall security strategy. You’ll also play a key role in winning new business and, once secured, will build a delivery team to execute projects.

Competitive salary £80,000 + 10% bonus.
Flexible hybrid working – 1 day per week in Cirencester or a 2-day stay-over option.
Responsibilities:
Define and build the MSP’s cybersecurity practice, selecting and implementing the right solutions.
Assess and replace existing security products (currently Palo Alto, Tenable, Vectra AI, Pentera) as needed.
Work closely with clients in a pre-sales advisory role, designing and architecting security solutions tailored to their needs.
Provide expertise across SASE, SIEM, XDR, Firewalls, Identity & Access Management, and other security technologies.
Support sales teams in customer engagements, delivering technical presentations and security strategies.
Act as the lead security consultant, shaping the MSP’s go-to-market cybersecurity offering.
Once contracts are secured, hire and lead a delivery team to implement solutions (you won’t be hands-on).
Skills/Must have:
Proven experience in a Security Pre-Sales, Architecture, or Consulting role within an MSP, VAR, or cybersecurity consultancy.
Strong technical knowledge across SASE, SIEM, XDR, Firewalls, Identity & Access Management, and wider security solutions.
CISSP certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade security solutions.
Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions on security products and services.
