Major Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager, to join an established FMCG business.\n\nAs part of the ongoing growth plan, as Production Manager you will be an integral part of the Leadership Team. I am looking for someone that can offer fresh expertise and experience however is still willing and excited to learn and develop new knowledge and experiences, be flexible and be able to work as part of a team and on their own.\n\nProduction Manager Responsibilities:\n\nOverseeing complete production operations.\nManaging around 15 direct reports\nEnsuring quality control, staff management, monitoring production schedules.\nOptimising production processes.\nLead through your direct reports and their teams 100% service to the customer.\nDrive continuous improvement and maintain target GMP score delivery.\nEnsure product is made to specification.\nEnsuring Health & Safety rules are always followed.\nHold daily reviews (KPI driven) within your department with improvement a key purpose.\nFocus and drive plan conformance.\nPlan and grow staff to required population, creating multi-skilled staff.\nLiaising with the production planner plan/deliver the most efficient production plan.\nSet Team leaders objectives, hold reviews and coach to success or hold to account.\nLook at all products run rates and manning and change to improved standards on production plan.\nRecommending and implementing process improvement.\nThrough the teams promote projects targeting ingredient yield improvement.\nManage and control WIP.Skills and characteristics as Production Manager,\n\nMinimum of 2 years' experience within FMCG sector in a previous position.\nStrong leadership and managerial skills.\nBRCG experience is essential.\nKnowledge of High-Risk manufacturing processes and equipment.\nAbility to analyse production data and implement process improvements.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.\nProblem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nHealth and safety knowledgeWhat's in it for you:\n\nBase salary starting at £45,000\nMonday - Friday\nHoliday 25 days per annum\nCareer progression and developmentMajor Recruitment act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and an Employment Business for temporary opportunities.\n\nINDSS
