Robert Half are pleased to partner with an growing PE backed business in order to hire a new Financial Business Partner. The Group is highly acquisitive and continuing to facilitate growth through acquisition, the role will support growth of two key operational entities and report into the Head of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and initial review of the Management Accounts and cash flow forecast as well as driving the performance of the business through financial analysis.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the updating and maintaining of WIP files on a monthly basis
2. Oversee the management accounts production with an initial review, including variance analysis
3. Responsible for the preparation of the cash flow forecasts
4. Responsible for the preparation of short-term daily cash flow forecasts
5. Business partnering with Operations, regularly reviewing the CTCs, projected outturns and projected cashflow on all major projects
6. Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed
7. Supporting the Head of Finance to develop the finance team
8. Supporting with divisional forecasting and the development of annual budgets
9. Ensure any HMRC submission such as PAYE, VAT, CIS, P11D reviewed and submitted on time
10. Supporting internal and external audit process
11. Develop, maintain and enforce appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls with the finance team
12. Support the Head of Finance and Finance Director with any financial analysis as required
13. Streamline and drive continuous improvement in order to gain efficiencies in the finance team
14. Any other ad-hoc reporting or duties as required
Requirements:
15. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
16. Strong Excel Skills
17. Exposure to BI reporting/SQL/Marcos (Preferred)
18. Project Accounting (Preferred)
19. High attention to detail
20. Experience partnering with and challenging "non-financial stakeholders"
21. Clear communicator
22. Awareness of detail surrounding individual project working capital
