We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at CCC-L Ward 3. The ward is a busy 32 single side room, 7-day inpatient ward. On Ward 3, we care for patients who are receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments and radiotherapy treatment that require an inpatient admission. The ward also specializes in the care of head and neck cancer patients.
The ward cares for patients requiring admission for both treatment and side effects of systemic anti-cancer treatments and/or radiotherapy and symptom management. Patients requiring artificial airway management are also nursed on the ward.
Health Care Support Worker - Full time position available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to work alongside registered nurses to provide the highest possible standard of care for patients and families. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and highly motivated individuals to undertake this new role and be willing to commit to further learning and development.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and clerical skills and have had previous experience working within a care environment.
