Exciting Opportunity: Managing Director
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Managing Director to lead our client through their next phase of growth. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in operations or marketing, ideally suited for a proven CEO, Managing Director, or Operations Director ready to take the next step. Over the first 3-12 months, you will blend CEO and COO responsibilities, working closely with the Founder to determine the ideal leadership team and organizational design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to scale the company, ensuring alignment with the mission and vision.
* Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Streamline processes and systems to support rapid growth.
* Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Financial Management: Monitor revenue and strive to exceed targets, with the support of the Finance Director.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's reach and impact.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role (CEO, COO, Executive Operations Director, or MD), preferably within eCommerce.
* Demonstrated success in scaling a business and driving significant revenue growth.
* Strong operational and financial acumen with a strategic mindset.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for charitable work.
* Degree and preferably an MBA.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
