Credit Controller

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to support our Finance Team during this exciting growth period and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate cash for three regions: Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland.
* Maintain monthly debtors’ spreadsheets for all three regions, including key performance indicators.
* Maintain customer accounts, including credit limit reviews and updates.
* Perform debt collection activities, ensuring timely payments from customers.
* Conduct Experian credit checks on new and existing customers.
* Liaise with the sales team regarding customer accounts.
* Manage the bad debt process, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
* Generate financial reports for management.
* Handle accounts emails and customer queries, including:
o Requests for missing invoices/credit notes.
o Pricing inquiries.
o Proof of deliveries.
o Proof of payments.
o Credit limit requests.
* Raise credit notes as required.
* Handle customer phone calls related to account queries.
* Process online payments and ensure accuracy in transactions.
* Support the team with ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years in a credit control, accounts receivable, or similar finance role.
* Demonstrated understanding of credit control processes, debt collection, and cash allocation.
* Ability to interpret financial data, maintain accurate records, and produce reports.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
* Experience with Excel and accounting software packages. Training on the internal ERP system will be provided.
* Proven ability to resolve customer disputes and account discrepancies effectively.
* Collaborative approach to working with finance, sales, and management teams.
