The role and what you’ll be doing: Policy Expert is a fast-paced environment that demands a flexible, enthusiastic approach to work. Our people are crucial to our customer-first approach and in turn, our support colleagues in L&D strive to deliver excellent service to meet our colleagues’ own needs for personal and professional development. As a facilitator you are the front of house for the L&D team; you are directly meeting, engaging, inspiring, and developing others through the learning interventions you facilitate. You will need to ensure your knowledge of the training materials you are tasked with delivering is exceptional and you will be continually focused on engaging colleagues throughout your sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity, for someone who is energetic and passionate about learning, as well as attuned to meeting business needs and objectives. Most of this role will be spent facilitating sessions in person, so the majority of the week you will be either on your feet in the training rooms, or occasionally hosting online sessions via Microsoft Teams. The role will principally be focused on operational training needs for our call centre; in Milton Keynes and may range from delivering induction sessions on our products, question set, insurance principles and also follow-on workshops around service and sales skills for example. Additionally, from time to time, there may be new rollouts around product, regulation or process changes, and short performance-based ‘buzz sessions’ and/ or coaching delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Training facilitation in the classroom and online where applicable Occasional coaching one to one with colleagues Some minor administration work – for examples: updating existing materials, adding additional content, planning and managing calendar bookings and/or attendance logging So then… who are you? An effective communicator, with the ability to deal with high volumes of Training keeping engaged and responsive to the business needs. You can energise yourself and your delivery around different subject matter focuses – for example sales techniques and customer service. You are passionate about helping others across the business. You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to read a room, receive feedback and adapt where necessary. You are comfortable with being on your feet and bringing positive uplifting energy to your internal customers. You are confident to address behavioural concerns and overcome barriers in the learning environment.
