Line of Business Job Description:
This job is responsible for handling medium to large projects for a Line of Business that may be regional or national in scope. Key responsibilities include recommending policy and procedural changes and developing measurement criteria and project plans such as cost and resource estimates. Job expectations include working with senior management to evaluate current methods and develop strategies to implement change and improvements brought about by the project.
Responsibilities:
* Analyzes current state processes, existing operations, procedures, and workflows and discovers pain points to develop approaches for potential solutions, including building a business case for improvement recommendations and driving the execution of implementation.
* Coordinates with the business to support defined project tasks, tracking deliverables and their statuses, and measuring progress against ongoing success measures.
* Supports partnerships with operations management to create project impact and provide direction and guidance to internal teams.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with relevant client stakeholders to communicate updates and escalate issues.
* Performs risk management activities to minimize project risks.
* Assists with creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
* Leverages business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement and supports change execution.

Product Owner Responsibilities:
* Providing end-to-end project management support for initiatives including prioritization of work, requirements gathering, development support/analysis, testing and communication.
* Ensuring test plans and test scripts are created and data is staged for pipeline and production testing (weekend availability for testing required during project release weekends) and providing demos/training to stakeholders.
* Providing post-production support to ensure any issues encountered are resolved with technology and business partners working in conjunction with the Production Support team.
* Providing guidance to more junior Product Owners on their large-scale projects as needed.
* Planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
Required Skills:
* Analytical skills to research and solve business problems through requirements and testing.
* Accountability for defect management and resolution through the lifecycle of the project.
* Ensure detailed test plans and test scripts are created and data is staged for pipeline and production testing.
* Relationship building across business, technology, operations and control partners and appropriately engaging partners during various stages of the project.
* Ensure changes are communicated to all stakeholders through written communication or provided through live presentations (ex. demonstrations and/or business status update meetings).
* Knowledge of navigating through Jira and familiar with the creation of Epics and Stories.
Desired Skills:
* SAFE Certified PO/PM or familiarity with agile methodology.
* Knowledge of COBE or client onboarding and maintenance platform/systems.
* Prior project or leadership skills.
