Advert
We have received funding through the Scottish Government to deliver employability support to help tackle child poverty and increase household incomes. The Parental Employability Support fund (PES) provides an opportunity to deliver tailored and personalised support to parents who are unemployed or looking to increase their income.
The Financial Inclusion Officer (PES) will work alongside Work EastRen’s PES Team, and Money Advice and Rights Team (MART) staff to carry out benefit checks, assist with applications for Social Security and other supports, better off calculations, and budgeting advice for parents within the target group.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the families of East Renfrewshire.
East Renfrewshire Council has launched a new 15 year Community Planning Partnership vision called ‘A Place to Grow’. Please follow this link You will work from both the MART office in Barrhead Council offices, and within the WorkEastRen Office Bank Street Barrhead, as well as from other outreach locations across the authority.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
