Hours per Week: 28 hours (10 am–5 pm, 4 days a week, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Location: London – 2 days in the office, 2 days remote
Salary: £28,000–£33,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Role Overview
As Lead Programme Coordinator, you will play a central role in driving the successful design and implementation of FYF’s impactful programmes. Reporting directly to the Director, you will manage programme planning, lead teams, and maintain effective collaboration between internal staff, delivery partners, and stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact initiatives while ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with FYF’s strategic goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Leadership
* Define objectives, timelines, and deliverables for programmes in collaboration with the Director.
* Oversee the planning and execution of major initiatives while independently managing smaller projects.
* Ensure all activities align with FYF’s strategic vision and core values.
* Monitor progress and proactively address challenges to achieve targets.
Team Coordination
* Supervise and mentor Programme Coordinators and support staff, fostering high-quality results.
* Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
* Ensure team members have the tools and support required to succeed.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Serve as the primary point of contact for programme participants, partners, and delivery teams.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to maximise programme success.
* Facilitate regular updates and feedback sessions to incorporate stakeholder insights.
Administrative and Operational Oversight
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for plans, schedules, and progress reports.
* Utilise project management tools to streamline operations and track performance metrics.
* Coordinate logistics for workshops, events, and training sessions, addressing all operational needs.
Budget and Resource Management
* Support the Director in budget management and expense tracking.
* Prepare financial reports and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Ensure programme delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Risk and Impact Assessment
* Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful programme delivery.
* Measure and report programme outcomes to demonstrate impact and inform future initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in programme or project coordination, including leading teams or initiatives.
* Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to guide and motivate team members.
* Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
* Knowledge of the creative or social enterprise sectors is advantageous.
* A recognised project management qualification is desirable but not essential.
