Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity working for a large blue-chip organisation in central London (hybrid), where you will lead on an innovative roadmap delivering on customer experience and annual growth.
You will work closely with various departments within the business to provide actionable insights to improve decision making, content commissioning, and ultimately customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
Day to Day:
1. Lead and have responsibility for line managing the output and development of the Analytics team.
2. Accountable for prioritising and owning the delivery of project roadmap.
3. Enable stakeholders to self-serve, through the development of datasets, dashboards and visualisations, translating data clearly to communicate insights.
4. Make recommendations to optimise analysis to aid wider commercial decisions.
5. Lead conversations with Technology teams, ensuring tagging, tracking, ingesting and surfacing of appropriate data to enable reporting and analytics.
6. Work closely with wider Analytics teams to provide aligned views and responses using data and market research.
About You:
1. Have line managed and developed analysts of all levels.
2. Drive business values.
3. Experience delivering projects including working to tight deadlines across multiple projects at the same time.
4. Communicate proactively, clearly and regularly to influence senior stakeholders.
5. You've been a key voice in strategic data projects, helping to commercialise data.
6. You'll have an analytical mindset and won't hesitate to get stuck in to solve a problem and be able to identify when this is a priority or not.
7. You spot opportunities to automate analytic processes, allowing teams across the business to focus on more complex, strategic business problems.
Technical Skills:
1. Strong experience manipulating large data sets in SQL to enable concise reporting and analysis (through data warehouses like GBQ/AWS).
2. Experienced in presenting and communicating detailed analysis to non-technical stakeholders (using tools like Powerpoint, Google Slides and Tableau).
3. Ability to visualise and present data in a meaningful and actionable way (using tools like Tableau/Looker/Data Studio).
