We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join the Community Engagement Team. The team delivers community events and workshops focusing on key topics to provide advice and guidance and ensure that resident and community voices are heard. The role also includes administration support to the Council’s Anti-social Behaviour Team and assisting in the work to reduce crime and disorder in the town.
This Apprentice role will assist in the delivery of projects, campaigns and services to residents, community groups, partner agencies and employees. As well as working towards a recognised Business Administration qualification.
You will enjoy dealing with people and understand the importance of excellent customer service whilst working in a confidential environment. You will be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, IT skills and be confident dealing with enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face.
You will also be self-motivated, well organised, have a good eye for detail, enjoy a varied workload and be committed to making the most of this Apprenticeship opportunity.

This post is offered on a fixed term basis for 2 years at 37 hours per week.
