My client is a leading global consultancy specialising in infrastructure services. This role will be working closely with the healthcare sector developing innovative projects that enhance patient care and improve healthcare facilities.
Your New Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and delivering mechanical building services for healthcare projects. Your expertise will directly impact patient well-being and the efficiency of healthcare facilities. You will manage a small team of engineers and support junior members of the team with their development. You will manage projects, stay close to the finances, prepare fee estimates, design programmes using client specifications and agree project deliverables.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
* Electrical Building Services Design:
Showcase your successful track record in designing electrical building services systems for healthcare facilities.
* Project Leadership:
Previous experience as a Senior or Principal Engineer, leading projects from concept to completion.
* Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
* Professional Membership:
Membership in a relevant professional body, such as IET or CIBSE.
* Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with software packages used for designing electrical building services (e.g., Revit, Amtech, Dialux).
* BIM Experience:
Deliver projects using BIM software packages (Revit, Amtech, Dialux).
What you’ll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 per annum along with excellent benefits including pension and 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays). This role will present you with the opportunity to work in a dynamic small team and a clear career pathway into senior leadership.
