Your role as a Ethical Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for implementing Kingfishers Human Rights policy into Offer and Sourcing.
Your goals are to support O&S’s growth, help assure customer confidence and to support the O&S Sustainability team, wider O&S functions ( Sourcing, Quality, Legal) and where appropriate, liaise with the relevant Banner teams, in delivering the O&S Responsible Sourcing Strategy for Human Rights.
What's the job
1. Prioritise and manage the programme of ethical supplier audits including liaison with external audit providers and in support of Buying Offices to on-board suppliers using the Kingfisher processes
2. Manage post audit corrective action plans consistent with risks and issues identified in the audit.
3. Development and delivery internally and externally (vendor) of training relevant to the implementation of the Kingfisher Ethical and related Environmental policies.
4. Assist in the development of the framework to demonstrate continuous improvement in labour standards & environmental practices and to reduce supply chain impact.
5. Support the identification of key issues and corresponding solutions, trends and themes in the area of Responsible Sourcing/ethical factory management.
6. Manage and maintain regular reports and conduct analysis based on information collected, monthly ethical audit.
7. Maintenance and management of appropriate due diligence process to compliment O&S Ethical & Environment policies
What you'll bring
8. Proven experience in the field of ethical management/human rights. (SMETA/ Amfori BSCI /Ecovadis knowledge and audit training desirable)
