As a Training Developer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of an expanding team who analyse, design, develop, deliver and evaluate the training modules for Babcock Marine employees, MOD staff, ships staff, contractors, government agencies and visitors. Day-to-day, you'll be an integral part of the Organisational Capability Team supporting the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of all training requirements identified for Nuclear implicated employees.
Responsibilities
* Coaching and mentoring new members of the team and any others requiring knowledge of the process, on the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
* To have a Nuclear safety focus in all activities and responsibilities undertaken.
* Ensure that all activities are carried out with full regard to Site Licence requirements, statutory regulations, Company and Location directives, procedures and safety rules.
* Provide assurance to the Nuclear Training Manager that our internal standards for training, assessment and accreditation of trainers and assessors are meeting best industry practice, ensuring new ideas for improvement are captured and implemented across the site.
Working Conditions
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Minimum Requirements
* Good working knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
* A good level of education beyond GCSE (or equivalent) and/or proven experience on basis of SQEP competence.
* Certificate in Learning and Development practice or equivalent.
* D32/D33 Assessor (Developmental)
* PTTLLS Level 4 (Developmental)
* DSAT or equivalent in Task Analysis (Developmental)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
