What is the job? We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who can maintain our financial records with accuracy and diligence. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting our finance team in decision-making. Key Responsibilities Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, investigating discrepancies as needed. Monitor aging reports, handle accounts payable and receivable, and prepare invoices. Work closely with the finance team to ensure data integrity and compliance with UK accounting standards. Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and maintain financial efficiency. What We’re Looking For Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably with UK-based businesses. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and a solid understanding of financial regulations. Excellent numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive approach: comfortable suggesting improvements to existing processes.
