Robert Half is supporting Protiviti in recruiting an experienced InfoSec Consultant for a high-profile assignment for their financial services organisation. This role requires extensive experience in establishing and operationalising information security policies and frameworks within complex, unstructured environments. Assignment Details: Start Date: February 2025 Contract Duration: Initially 3 Months but with view of further extension Location: Hybrid in th eCity of London c.2-3 days on site is required Daily Rate via PAYE : £600-£650 per day (with employer's NI and tax deducted unlike Umbrella companies). Role Objectives: Develop, implement, and maintain robust InfoSec policies and frameworks tailored to Protiviti's needs. Support the transition from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, ensuring security and compliance throughout the process. Provide hands-on expertise in managing sensitive information and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Deliver practical solutions to enhance information security maturity. Experience Required: Proven track record with extensive InfoSec information security experience, ideally within the financial services sector. Expertise in designing and embedding InfoSec policies, frameworks, and governance structures in environments lacking maturity or structure. Strong knowledge of cloud security, particularly in transitioning from on-premises to Azure (highly desirable). In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services, including GDPR, DORA, and other applicable frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with C-level executives. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, highly sensitive environment.
