Position: Deputy Nursery Manager
The nursery are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting and must hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
Manage and support the nursery staff team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers, fostering open communication and collaboration
Monitor and assess the progress and development of children, ensuring their individual needs are met
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of health and safety
Develop and implement nursery policies and procedures in line with best practices and statutory requirements
Manage administrative tasks, including enrolment, staff schedules, and budgeting
Requirements:
Prior experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting
CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Excellent leadership and management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
A proactive and organized approach to managing the nursery
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
