A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong energy, and exceptional organisational skills to provide strategic leadership and management of property compliance. This will include establishing and maintaining rigorous monitoring, oversight and escalation processes for inspections and servicing regimes, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies as well as the safeguarding of our occupants, tenants, staff, and other building users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Director(s) and Head(s) of Service in managing and monitoring the Authority's legislative duties by leading an integrated team of property professionals to ensure safe use of council property assets including leased property in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Develop, manage, monitor, and review effective strategies that align with legislative guidelines, corporate policies, and approved codes of practice.
* Oversee regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards associated with property compliance, managing internal and external capacity to respond to demand.
You will need conversational Welsh, but support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
