A GREAT opportunity has arisen for caring, honest and motivated health care workers to join our teams on Avenham female PICU at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital.
You will be motivated to support patients suffering mental health difficulty, requiring input nursing, medical and other health professionals on a day to day basis.
You will have good understanding and experience of mental health, either through work role or personal life and be able to listen, respect and empathise with patients and their families, working with the rest of the team to ensure that patients receive the best standards of care.
Whilst working on the Mental Health in patient unit you will be required to:-
Work as an Integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), working within a rotational shift system to support patients according to their care needs, some of whom may present with problematic or challenging behaviour.
Contribute to, and participate in the on- going support of patients and their carers. Contribute to the protection of patients, from abuse.
Contribute to the health, safety and security of patients and their environment. Obtain, transmit and store information relating to the delivery of a care service.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
