An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join a proactive, award-winning, independent small animal practice in North Wales. Situated in a historic cathedral city, the location provides easy access to the stunning Eryri National Park, a vast area of 823 square miles renowned for its diverse habitats, rare flora and fauna, and the highest mountains in Wales.

As a relatively new practice, the facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a dental suite with an x-ray unit, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, tonopen, isolation facilities, and separate cat and dog wards. The team is experienced and friendly, including an advanced certificate holder in small animal medicine, supported by a dedicated nursing team of three RVNs and one SVN.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and compassionate approach, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Experience is essential, alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to further develop your skills. The practice encourages evidence-based patient care, ensuring the highest clinical standards are maintained.
The role offers a full-time rota of four shifts on and eight shifts off, providing a balance of rewarding work and ample downtime to enjoy the surrounding area.
The Package:
• Superb salary of £45,000 to £50,000 with opportunity for investment/ partnership
• 5.6 weeks including Bank Holidays
