Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey, providing motor finance to a network of dealerships throughout the UK.
We are seeking an Operational Delivery Manager to join our Operational Transformation & MI department. This role will lead strategic and operational transformation projects, managing and developing a team of business analysts and managers to support these initiatives.
Please note this role is hybrid, with at least days per week in the Redhill office. Remote work will not be considered.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Lead design, planning, and execution of transformation programmes aligning with business strategy and regulations.
2. Manage end-to-end delivery of change initiatives in core operational areas such as Onboarding, Aftersales, and Controls.
3. Lead a team assessing and implementing business changes aligned with organizational goals.
4. Collaborate with technology teams to support digital transformation, automation, and process standardization.
5. Analyze existing processes, systems, and data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for value creation.
6. Translate operational data into insights and improvement plans.
7. Manage post-implementation issues and ensure corrective plans are in place.
8. Own the transformation roadmap and prioritize initiatives.
9. Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate impact and guide continuous improvement.
10. Ensure activities comply with governance frameworks and financial regulations.
11. Identify and mitigate operational risks through improved controls and processes.
12. Lead stakeholder engagement across Operations, IT, and other departments.
13. Develop change management strategies to support adoption and minimize disruption.
14. Provide training and upskilling on change techniques.
15. Conduct development and performance evaluations to maximize team potential.
16. Adhere to Consumer Duty standards, prioritizing customer needs and high standards of protection.
What we’re looking for:
1. Extensive experience in a similar role, successfully delivering diverse projects on time and within budget.
2. Management and project management experience.
3. Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
4. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
5. Leadership ability to manage high-performing teams and understand service impacts.
6. Ability to interpret strategy requirements and communicate effectively with teams.
7. Strong knowledge of Business Analysis tools, techniques, and frameworks.
8. Expertise in end-to-end change management.
9. Data analysis skills and experience working with data-driven requirements.
10. Risk management capabilities within business areas.
11. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
