Job summary We are currently recruiting Pharmacy Dispensers and welcome applications on a full and part time basis. We currently have permanent and fixed term posts available You will join our rotational team largely in Sunderland Royal Hospital but will be required to work across our three Pharmacies and support our manufacturing teams. Our Inpatient pharmacy supplies pharmaceutical items to wards and departments across our various sites and also supports the medicine management team. Our Outpatient pharmacy dispenses prescriptions to patients attending outpatient clinics within the three outpatient sites operated by our dispensing partner CHoICE. Our Manufacturing team aseptically prepare medicines for individual patients. It is essential that applicants have NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services and have some experience of working in a busy Pharmacy. Training in manufacturing can be provided for those applicants with a community pharmacy background. The successful candidate will be supported to undertake the Accredited Checking course after being in post for 6 months. This role operates across a shift pattern which includes Monday Friday 8.30am 5.00pm, weekend working 10.00am-18.00pm and late night 11.30am-20.00pm / 9.30am-18.00pm.
