Higher Level Teaching Assistant Monday to Friday Working in a mainstream Primary School North London - Finchley February start A Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will be expected to teach and cover classes in teacher's absences using their planning to continue students learning. Within this role, you may be asked to carry out intervention tasks to support students lacking confidence as well as assisting students who need additional support with their learning. You will be supporting pupils across the school and working outside the classroom in extracurricular activities. Your skills and experience will be put to the test by supporting the learning and development of each pupil dedicated to you, ensuring they are encouraged, supported and managed in an effective manner to meet their needs. What we look for in a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Hold HLTA status or have extensive previous teaching assistance experience Be capable of preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals, smalls groups or the class as a whole.
