About the Role:
The Cleaning, Disassembly & Media Bay Supervisor is a critical position within our workshop facility, responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the cleaning and disassembly of aerospace components.
As a seasoned professional, you will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience in a similar role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of cleaning technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement cleaning protocols, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to strict aerospace cleanliness and quality standards.
* Investigate and address any quality issues or deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions to maintain our high standards.
* Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the department, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and implement safety improvements as required to maintain our commitment to safety.
* Maintenance and Supplies: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and PPE, ensuring availability and compliance with material safety data sheets (MSDS).
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the cleaning bay.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cleaning operations with broader production and quality goals.
