As we continue to grow, we are looking for Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Shefford site.
About the role
In this role you will work in a team to pick and dispatch orders to customers to a high quality standard, always adhering to our Health & Safety requirements. You will check incoming components for quantity and integrity and storing them in the correct places. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working shifts of 6am-2pm, and 2pm-10pm.
Our manufacturing business operates with a site at Bedford too and offsite storage in other locations, so you must be flexible to work at these sites as required, dealing with a variety of warehouse tasks either inside or outside in all conditions.
About you
To be successful in this role you have:
* a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck and a Reach Truck licence.
* experience of working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
* be physically fit with good manual handling skills.
* enjoy working outside in all climates (suitable clothing and PPE will be provided).
* A team player with a positive attitude, willing to learn and undertake additional duties when required.
* comply with the Health & Safety Regulations and our Company standards at all times.
* basic IT skills
* good communication skills
* numerate with a good attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, driven and able to work unsupervised with the desire and determination to succeed, achieve goals and company aspirations.
* be flexible in your approach to work and willing to work overtime when required.
* Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times, following the ACO Code of Conduct.
* Full valid driving licence.
