Pioneering speciality artisan coffee in the UK since 2006, you can visit our flagship cafe on Goldstone Villas, or see our roastery in action at Wellington House in Portslade for a cup of our multi-award winning coffee including our house Goldstone blend.
The Opportunity
We are looking for finance, accounting & bookkeeping superstar – for an exciting role reporting to the Finance Manager. The role is part-time between 25-30 hours dependant on the candidate.
A passion for detail & numbers is essential, ideally with experience in retail & hospitality, if you know your way around Xero too, that would be a real bonus.
Responsibilities include;
All bookkeeping tasks for the roastery and cafe's within the group
* Bank reconciliations
* All aspects of purchase ledger including payment runs
* Accurate and timely invoicing
* Regular debtor chasing
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting the Finance Manager with month end tasks and management accounts
* Managing emails, answering telephone calls and general admin support
Skills required
* AAT qualified or in final year
* Minimum 5 years accounts experience
* Ideally experience with Xero
Salary - up to £30k pro rata
Office based in Portslade
25-30 hours per week across 5 days
