We guarantee each service to be different, fun, and full of atmosphere We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee and drive all aspects of our restaurant operations. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role focused on ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences; effectively developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation. You will be responsible for managing the restaurant operations within budget and to the highest brand standards. Leading the restaurant, bar and wine team by attracting, recruiting, training and creating development paths for the team. The role will have a strong focus on the development and growth of the HOD team and will be responsible for supporting, overseeing and co-ordinating the operation between Bar, Restaurant and Wine. Monitoring guest feedback, resolving issues, and striving to continuously improve the overall Restaurant experience for our guests. You will be commercially minded and entrepreneurial, being able to spot opportunities and act swiftly. You will be motivated by targets and be able to impart enthusiasm for sales on your teams, you will also understand how to manage costs and control operational spending including payroll, inventory control, waste management, and stock ordering. Overseeing rosters and payroll, you will optimise staffing schedules to meet the business needs. Experience in a similar role is essential, you must have a clear understanding of traditional restaurant service, and how to use this knowledge to drive and improve standards. Candidates must be capable and confident to take on responsibility for the hotel during shifts, acting as Duty Manager, being prepared and able to deal with incidents or emergency situations.
