Due to a current influx of projects, our client, a well-respected flight support solutions provider, is recruiting for several Flight Planning Operations roles based near London Stansted.

The company is experiencing growth and seeks experienced, confident, and focused OCC flight planners/dispatchers for its Commercial Airline unit. No day is the same, with varied and rewarding solutions for clients. Working Pattern
Shifts are 12 hours, covering days and nights from 0600-1800 / 1800-0600, with a rotation of 5 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 4 on, 5 off, ensuring two weekends off per month.

Main Purpose of the Flight Operations Controller
Assist the Operations Manager in the smooth daily running of the flight operations desk, ensuring the delivery of the flying programme in compliance with safety and quality policies. Proactively manage daily workload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operations/Service Delivery: Ensure safe and timely delivery of daily flights, adhering to standards.
* Operations/Quality/Safety: Use LEON scheduling software, SMS, PROPS, PPS, Jetplanner/Jeppview, AFTN, SITA, CFMU; promptly address safety issues.
* Operations/Quality: Promote safety and compliance, check flight dispatch quality and adherence to procedures.
* Supervisory: Conduct handovers and coordinate during shift changes and absences.
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain client relationships, address operational issues swiftly, and liaise with departments. Ensure effective communication across the company and with clients.
To Be Considered:
* Experience in flight planning operations is essential
* Permission and application experience required
* Traffic rights experience preferred
* Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
* Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize tasks
* Flexible, confident, and positive about change and innovation
