Our client based in Aldermaston is looking to recruit an Instrument Technician to assemble and build up components to build complex equipment, this will require someone that processes strong Electro – Mechanical experience and qualities.
Job Description
The role of the Instrument Technician will be to assemble and build up the component parts to make quality products fit for purpose, efficiently and consistently.
They will support the Production Managers and Product Specialists to ensure delivery of our products, on time.
Carry out manufacturing processes accurately and efficiently.
Maintain high standards to contribute to the manufacturing process that is safe.
Interact with the company enterprise resources planning tools (Epicor) to be able to correctly book materials, parts, time and expenses to manufacturing jobs.
Essential Experience
• Excellent soldering skills, mechanical assembly and practical skills
• High level of dexterity
• Technical background, working as a repair specialist

• Ability to identify or infer faults from test behaviour i.e. fault finding and take corrective action and verify, not merely repair work
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of electronics including reading and understanding circuit diagrams and a basic understanding of component types
• Computer literacy
