Standard working hours would be 09.00 till 17.30 Monday to Friday; however, the nature of this role is to work on events which have varied hours. The successful candidate will be required to work at weekends, evenings, or nightshifts delivering events. Overtime will be available and may be required as and when needed.

Who we’re looking for:
We now have the opportunity for an Event Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work with the wider team under the direction of the Technical Manager. This role will primarily involve delivering shows on site and in the venues we service. Alongside these shows, the event technician will assist our warehouse team by providing technical support and helping in preparing rental equipment.
This is a challenging full-time role with plenty of scope for future career development in a fast-growing company in the events industry. The role would be ideal for someone with some existing touring, venue, or technical production experience, who would like to develop their skillset through a mix of work on site, in venues, and in our warehouse. The candidate should be confident in their field, with a specialism in either lighting, audio, or video and have a working knowledge of other disciplines, but an in-depth programme of training will be provided. The nature of the events we service will require working regular unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays but a flexible working arrangement is in place to allow time off in lieu and/or structured overtime.
Core Duties:
1. Delivering technical production for events including on-site rigging/de-rigging and operating.
2. Acting as point of contact on behalf of the Project Management team when working onsite.
3. Load and unload vehicles and oversee vehicle loading logistics, including deliveries to site when required.
4. Organisation of the warehouse equipment and consumable items.
5. Working with the warehouse team to prep, de-prep, and check in equipment for hire.
6. Stock Control using Current RMS rental management software.
7. Ensure all company equipment is kept in pristine condition and uphold the company's exceptional standards and attention to detail.
8. Complying with the company's paperwork process to generate and file hire agreements and Prep Lists.
9. Complying with company health and safety procedures.
10. Assisting in all aspects of the day-to-day company operations as required.
Person Specification:
1. Excellent attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
3. Ability to work as part of a team and solo under own initiative. Good team player.
4. Good timekeeping.
5. Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, keep a cool head and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
6. Physical ability to undertake manual labour required for the position.
7. Flexibility and a can-do attitude.
8. A great knowledge of Sound, Lighting, and Visual systems and their applications is essential. The candidate should be an expert in their individual field and have a good working knowledge of other technical disciplines.
9. Experience working in music venues or theatres of 1000+ capacity or equivalent.
10. Previous experience working for a technical production company is an advantage but not essential.
11. Experience working with Vectorworks, Capture, Current RMS, and Teamtrack are all an advantage but not essential.
12. Full UK Driving License is required.
13. Forklift Truck License an advantage but not essential.
A full programme of training will be provided to the right individual.
