As Research and Enterprise Institutional Investment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of specific funds, including QR and HEIF. This will entail implementing a monitoring framework and closely reviewing spend against agreed budgets, liaising with faculties and escalating risks as appropriate. You will also lead on the implementation of internal funding calls, identifying and convening consensus groups as necessary, sending appropriate communications, applications, evaluation, communicating outcomes and monitoring overall expenditure.
You will need to have excellent knowledge of funder rules and regulations to ensure funds are allocated and spent appropriately, maximising impact and minimising risk to the organisation.
You will manage the R&E Governance, Integrity and Systems team’s data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR and data retention schedules.
We are looking for someone with a high level of emotional intelligence who has the ability to develop strong working relationships with staff at all levels across the University to ensure quality service delivery, demonstrating political awareness, diplomacy and tact. You will need demonstrable project management skills; experience managing or monitoring multiple budgets in a complex environment and demonstrable understanding of Higher Education funding, particularly QR and HEIF. You will also need the ability to work in a challenging environment, adapt to changing priorities and timescales and meet deadlines alongside enthusiasm and evidence of a proactive approach to continuous service improvement.
