As the Wound Care Nurse Lead you will play a pivotal role in leading our 'optimised' wound care service and managing related research projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of wound care, coordinating with clients, organising service provision, writing up reports and driving initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery. We are creating a service to demonstrate outcomes and cost effectiveness of optimal wound care, and needing a nurse passionate to lead the way in optimising every aspect of care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee the wound care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
2. Organise and manage wound care projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including manufacturers, doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to optimise wound care practices.
4. Provide expert wound care management, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up care.
5. Develop and implement wound care protocols and guidelines based on the latest research and best practices.
6. Collaborate, generate ideas, and dedicate energy to service innovation.
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care interventions and make necessary adjustments.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
9. Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £43,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
