A lovely special needs school in Hillingdon are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join the team, starting in September. This full-time position involves working with primary students (Key Stage 1 or 2) and supporting those with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to primary students with SEBD, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. - Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP's) in collaboration with other staff members and specialists. - Create a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth. - Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. - Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support for each student. - Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports to parents and senior staff. Requirements: - Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching primary students (Key Stage 1 or 2). - Proven experience in supporting students with SEBD (Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties). - Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. - A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs.
