Role Overview
As a Rental Fleet Administrator at Zenith, your role is vital to ensuring the timely availability of trailers for our customers. You'll be responsible for managing rental agreements, maintaining records, and liaising with both in-house and third-party maintenance teams to ensure that trailers are ready to go. You'll also be performing visual inspections and managing the trailer yard.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactive Trailer Management: Regularly inspect trailers in the yard, checking their condition and ensuring that any necessary repairs or maintenance are carried out.
* Initiative & Independence: Take initiative to solve issues without supervision. Your ability to self-motivate and keep operations moving smoothly is crucial.
* Trailer Compliance: Ensure all trailers are compliant in line with the customers' requirements and that all relevant documentation is supplied to the customer prior to collection.
* Strong Vendor & Mechanic Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and mechanics to ensure the timely maintenance and repair of trailers.
* Customer Focus: Ensure that trailers are ready for collection by customers without any issues, and assist in managing customer queries or concerns.
* Yard Management: Keep the trailer yard organized, ensuring customers park trailers properly and perform necessary shunting to optimize space.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain high health and safety standards, completing audits and inspections on time.
* Administrative Excellence: Process rental agreements and maintain records accurately, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and filed properly.

* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Self-Motivated & Initiative-Driven: Ability to take ownership of tasks and problems, finding solutions quickly and efficiently.
* Attention to Detail: Ensure trailers are checked thoroughly upon return, documenting any damages and ensuring they are recharged correctly.
* Systems Savvy: Comfortable using bespoke systems and proficient in Excel for reporting and audits.
* Customer Service Focused: A strong customer service ethic, ensuring clients have a seamless experience and their needs are met.
