Principal Service Architect responsible for designing and developing scalable managed services across Unified Communications (UC), AV Room Technologies, and Digital Signage. This role bridges engineering, service delivery, and commercial teams to align technical innovation with business outcomes. It involves strategic consulting, service development, and internal enablement, aimed at delivering value-driven, customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design of managed services for UC, AV, and digital signage.
2. Translate client requirements and market trends into scalable service models.
3. Define SLAs, support models, and operational processes.
4. Produce service documentation (e.g., SOWs, HLDs, blueprints).
Commercial Strategy & Engagement
1. Support business development with solution design and client presentations.
2. Develop pricing models, ROI analysis, and commercial strategies.
3. Contribute to service profitability and cost optimization initiatives.
Client Consulting & Advisory
1. Conduct workshops, assessments, and audits with client stakeholders.
2. Present service strategies to C-level and technical audiences.
3. Create service transformation roadmaps for enterprise clients.
4. Support clients with global service requirements and solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Work with engineering, product, operations, and delivery teams for seamless implementation.
2. Mentor and support the development of engineers and solution consultants.
3. Deliver internal training and contribute to sales enablement efforts.
Skills & Competencies
1. Deep expertise in UC, AV systems, room management, and digital signage platforms.
2. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, Poly, Neat, Appspace, Crestron, Utelogy.
3. Knowledge of ITIL service design frameworks and hybrid/cloud/on-prem environments.
4. Strong commercial acumen with experience in managed service models and executive presentations.
5. Effective communicator and consultant with client-facing leadership experience.
6. Self-driven, strategic thinker capable of working across global teams and initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Networking, IT, or related field.
2. 10+ years in technical or service architecture roles, including 5+ in UC/AV/Managed Services.
3. Certifications preferred: Cisco (CCNA or higher), Microsoft 365, ITIL, AVIXA CTS.
4. Experience in designing services for global delivery environments.
