Join us in the heart of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, where off duty, lifestyle fashion meets outstanding customer service as the Manager of our Women's wear department on a full-time permanent basis.

* Competitive salary: on offer is a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, with time and half for Sundays and Bank Holidays worked.
* Holiday: 28 days per annum
* Hours: Working 5 days a week, including the weekend with one weekend off per month. Hours are Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm (45-minute lunch) and Sunday/Public Holiday hours: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

About the Role:
As the successful Manager of our Women's department, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the future direction and performance of our retail space. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to lead a team, have a direct influence on the business, inspire creativity, and help create an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Help ensure genuinely outstanding customer service is at the heart of everything we do.
* Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the Women's department, overseeing replenishments, merchandising, and deliveries to maintain an inviting shopping atmosphere.
* Lead, motivate, and inspire your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Set the standards.
* Help and support the buying process, including attending buying appointments, following budgets and implementing buying plans
* Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to enhance store performance and uphold our brand values.
* As part of the management team, help implement the Company Strategy, upholding and maintaining Company values at all times.
* Adhere to all company policies and regulations concerning cash handling, stock management, EPOS systems, and health & safety protocols.
About you:
We're looking for a true team player with a strong customer focus and the ability to engage confidently with customers, colleagues, and suppliers alike. The ideal candidate will have a passion for style and fashion and the motivation to make a difference. Previous management experience in a retail setting is expected, where they've thrived on responsibility and demonstrated a track record of driving sales. Excellent communication skills, outstanding organisational abilities, and a positive, can-do attitude are essential. You should possess a knack for motivating others and fostering an enthusiastic work environment, alongside proficiency in IT to handle our systems with ease
