Overview You ready to lead large, complex, customer-facing projects and make a significant impact? As a Project Manager, you will deliver projects to time, cost, and quality criteria, operating within our established organisational delivery framework. This role is based at the customer site in Suffolk for three days a week, where you will collaborate closely with the customer and engineers. Roles & Responsibilities Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Planning & Control Create detailed project plans encompassing all deliverables & ensuring stakeholder buy-in. Manage change control using the appropriate processes. Leadership, Communication & Stakeholder Management Create and sustain collaborative working relationships across customers, suppliers, and internal delivery teams, whilst defining clear roles and responsibilities. Financial Management : Maintaining a project finance tracker and utilizing change control for cost variation from original baselines. To ensure WBS codes match the project structure and are shared with the relevant stakeholders. Managing project billing milestones within the designated management reporting tool. Having a complete understanding of change control governance and procedures. Aware of the commercial impact of change can affect including cost ownership, milestone status, project margin, total contract value (TCV) and aligned resource. Project Governance & MethodologyComplies with Customer Project Delivery Framework methodology which is supported by industry project management standards such as PRINCE2. Risk & Issue Management E stablishing & maintaining a Risk and Issue register, whilst identifying new risks and responses as well as mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle of projects. Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: Leadership and Team working Proven leadership and collaborative skills to manage cross functional teams and senior stakeholders. Self-motivated individual with good organisational, interpersonal, and influencing skills Effective CommunicationAble to communicate in an accurate and concise manner to specific audiences, using varying tools and techniques, Planning and Control Demonstrating a good understanding of common project management planning tools and methodologies Significant proven Project Management experience of managing large and complex projects. Business Skills & Attributes Having delivery experience spanning a varied, as well as multidisciplinary project environment/. Experienced in the technology industry with expertise in the telecoms sector. Good knowledge &awareness of customer products and service offering is advantageous. Experience of working in a challenging customer facing service role and project environment. Delivered projects into a regulated construction environment that requires a high level of Health & Safety when deploying solutions on site. Requirements The Project Manager will be customer site based3 days per week They will have strong governance skills including but not limited to delivery and billing milestone and customer facing experience. The customer location isSuffolkand as such the resource needs to be close to this location to avoid / mitigate additional expenses. Prince 2 Practitioner isessential SC Cleared CCNSG for onsite access (Engineering H&S site) Need to be confident operating in a construction environment (7 Point PPE, H&S associated) Desirable: Have delivered Project (s) that require a high level of Health & Safety when deploying solutions on site Have delivered projects into a regulated environment, e.g. Nuclear, MOD, etc Have exposure to projects delivering technology into the construction industry. Agile experience Willingness to undertake additional safety training as required (e.g., SMSTS)
