Overview of the role
Apadmi, a leading mobile-focused digital engineering and product creation business, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), who are key to generating and managing both inbound leads and outbound meeting opportunities. This role requires an operational doer with a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving growth.
What you’ll do
Team Leadership and Management:
1. Lead, mentor, and develop the SDR and BDR teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
2. Set clear objectives and KPIs for the teams, ensuring alignment with the overall sales strategy.
3. Provide regular coaching and training to enhance team skills and productivity.
Sales Process and Strategy:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise lead generation and conversion.
2. Ensure SDRs efficiently manage inbound leads and BDRs proactively generate significant outbound meetings.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and optimise lead quality.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
1. Monitor and analyse team performance, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
2. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends to the Chief Growth Officer.
3. Drive the weekly sales forecasting process, delivering accurate and trusted sales forecasts for the group.
4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the sales function.
What we’re looking for:
1. Proven experience in a sales management role within a technology or digital engineering environment.
2. Strong understanding of mobile-focused digital products and services.
3. Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
