About the role
As a key member of the Online Futures team, the Digital Media Developers will play a critical role in the creation and delivery of high-quality, pedagogically driven media content. Under the direction of the Online Futures Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing media development, working across a portfolio of online and distance learning programs. Collaborating closely with Learning Designers, Academic Staff, Learning Technologists, and Curriculum Developers, the role will contribute to enhancing student engagement through compelling multimedia content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver a customer-focused, creative media production service to support Online Futures initiatives.
• Produce, edit, and publish a variety of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, webinars, and podcasts.
• Provide specialist expertise in video and audio capture, ensuring high-quality pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production outputs.
• Manage an editorial calendar, prioritizing content production in alignment with project deadlines.
• Review and refine existing media content based on evaluation and feedback to enhance student engagement.
• Keep abreast of emerging media technologies and software to drive innovation in digital content production.
• Lead and contribute to process improvement projects, optimizing media production workflows.
• Collaborate with academic and professional service teams to ensure media assets align with pedagogical objectives.
What we’re looking for
You will have:
• A degree or equivalent qualification/professional experience in media production.
• Proven experience in producing multimedia content across various platforms using professional hardware and software.
• Strong skills in video and audio editing, digital tools, and media production techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
• Strong planning, coordination, and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and a creative approach to media development.
These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
For these roles, you will need to be on site 4 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
