Due to the continued success and increased turnover year on year for the past 5 years, this Top 65 firm is looking to grow their business crime & regulation team with the addition of a solicitor, to complement their wider team.
You will be joining a well-recognised department who deal with a range criminal matters.
The Firm & Role:
1. They have a network of offices across the country, and London is now becoming one of their strongest, they have big plans to continue to expand here with many key hires in the pipeline.
2. In the past two years they have hired over 40 Partners across multiple disciplines, who have come in and added a vast amount of value to the teams they have joined.
3. They are ranked as leaders in the Legal 500 across most of their practice areas and have their eyes set on becoming the go-to firm in the UK.
4. You will find that working for this firm you will be surrounded by individuals who are highly regarded in their respective fields and you will work on some of the largest matters outside of the Top 10 law firms.
5. The firm has an excellent infrastructure, using some of the best equipment and software in the industry. They have invested heavily in marketing each of their practice areas which has seen a 50% rise in instructions this year alone.
6. You will have experience preparing and running cases in the Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal at differing levels of supervision dependent on the severity and complexities of the case.
7. You will have a full understanding of AML regulation as applicable to the legal sector as well as a full understanding of the Solicitor's Code of Conduct and Solicitor's Accounts rules
8. You will have a proven track record in representing clients in interview under caution for serious offences
9. You will have a keen interest in getting involved in the team's marketing and business development activities.
The ideal candidate:
10. Minimum of 4 years' PQE
11. Track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
12. Able to work well with other department to increase cross referral instructions
13. Willing to invest in more junior members of the team to help them progress and develop their skillsets
